Edward Sargent has been a Hampton Roads resident since 1967. He graduated from The University of Notre Dame in May 1977 with a B.A. in Government and International Studies and a Certificate in Soviet and East European Affairs. He continued his education at the College of William & Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law receiving his Doctor of Jurisprudence May, 1981. He has been a member of the Virginia State Bar since June 1981.
In 1986, Ed became a sole practitioner in general business practice emphasizing in real estate, small business and corporate law, collections and bankruptcy, wills, trusts and estates. Ed has been helping his clients meet their legal needs for 30 years. Ed is a member of the Chesapeake Bar Association and the Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association.
